Frequently Asked Questions

Can the end cup be retrofitted on existing installed trays?
Yes. The end cup slides over the tray side rails without removing cables. However, if cables extend beyond the tray end by more than 30mm, temporary support is required during installation to prevent fiber strain.
What is the load capacity of the end cup itself?
The end cup is not designed for load-bearing. Maximum axial force 50N (equivalent to 5kg static) applied to the end face. For cable pulling or tension applications, use dedicated pull-off elbows or termination boxes.
Does the end cup require gaskets for dust protection?
Standard version has no gasket. For IP4X protection level, order end cups with neoprene gasket (2mm thickness) pre-attached to the flange. Gasket compresses to seal gaps between end cup and tray side rail.
How to identify correct end cup size for existing tray?
